Engage with RHINO
Our network thrives on the contributions and enthusiasm from our members. We welcome you to share your thoughts, ideas, and experiences with RHINO. We’ve designed a number of ways you can connect with RHINO:
Join our listserve
The best way to stay connected to the RHINO community and hear updates about new events and activities is to join our listserv. We share resources, news, and updates, as well as a quarterly newsletter, to keep you in the know about the latest happenings around the world in HIS strengthening.
Participate in or moderate an online forum
Each quarter, the RHINO team hosts an online forum to explore a dimension of routine health information systems. Previously forums were hosted via email; now, we host our forums on the RHINO website.
Past e-mail based forums have focused on gender and HIS, mHealth and technology, and HIV data. We post the forum transcripts to share the knowledge and learning with the wider community.
Contribute to the RHINO Blog
Have a great story to share about your work in RHIS? Or an opinion piece on the evolution of information systems? We’d love to feature your post on the RHINO blog. Simply contact the RHINO team with your story pitch (3-5 sentences about your topic) and we’ll share blog guidelines and work with you to develop your post.
Tell us about an HIS Hero
There’s a human face to HIS that we seldom see in the technical documents about HIS strengthening activities. That’s why RHINO is committed to sharing the stories of the HIS heroes from around the world who work tirelessly to improve the quality, availability, and use of routine health information. Know an HIS hero who we should feature, or have your own heroic story to tell? Contact our team!
Have an idea and not sure how to share it with the community? Email us, and one of our RHINO team members will respond with next steps.
