Availability and use of quality routine health information is critical to improving how we plan for and delivery health services. Testing, care, and treatment for HIV/AIDS is no different, and there is increased awareness that HIV services need to be better linked and integrated with other health services. To dive into this important issue, RHINO is hosting a virtual forum from October 13-23 on this topic, moderated by technical experts who will share their experiences.
On Thursday, October 15, Kola Oyediran and Cristina de la Torre from the MEASURE Evaluation project shared their experiences around the information needed from a routine HIS in order to link various types of health services. They highlighted the importance of routine data for both client and overall program management.
