On May 23-25, the Latin American and Caribbean Network to Strengthen Health Information Systems (RELACSIS) will hold its VIII Annual Meeting in Managua, Nicaragua. The convening will gather professionals from the region to review the 2017 work plan, created last fall at the network’s coordinating group meeting in Mexico. Network members will also exchange best practices, discuss pertinent topics, and present on their work in health information systems. English translation will be provided in all sessions. Formed in 2010, RELACSIS is a component of the PAHO Regional Plan for Strengthening Vital and Health Statistics (PEVS), working with the Leadership, Management, & Governance Project (LMG), implemented by Management Sciences for Health (MSH2) and financed by USAID. The network serves as a hub to connect professionals and academics, fostering knowledge sharing and best practices to strengthen health information systems in the Latin American and Caribbean region.
