WHO released recommendations on ways countries can employ digital technology to improve health systems. The publication aims to present both recommendations and implementation considerations for health policymakers and other stakeholders to make informed investments in digital health interventions. The guide includes recommendations “based on a critical evaluation of the evidence on emerging digital health interventions that are contributing to health system improvements” that are from “an assessment of the benefits, harms, acceptability, feasibility, resource use and equity considerations.”
